BUGATTI CHIRON

Imagine a quad turbo hyper car which also has electric adjustable seats which can also do 0-62 mph in 2.4 sec, with one of the most recognisable body design and an interior to match its elegans of its exterior. Of course, the pinnacle of engineering comes from one of if not the biggest companies in the automotive world the Volkswagen group. The Chiron is the successor to the iconic and legendary car of the late 2000s and early 2010s the Bugatti Veyron which only 450 were produced from 2005-15 and was the world fastest car for a long time and was at the top of the game for a long time .with only a 1000 hours power and a top speed of 225 mph, the  Veyron was old and needed an upgrade. So when the Mosheim based company decided to launch the Chiron people actually lost it at the Geneva motor show in 2016,the Chiron was based on  the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car, which is loved in the car world from 2015.Many people say the Chiron had big boots to fill and it did it with speed and comfort.

Now let’s talk some numbers of the Chiron, we touched on this topic in the intro but let’s go in with some more detail. The Bugatti Chiron has a W-16 quadturboed 8 litter engine which produces 1500 horsepower and 1600 N-m of torque with a top speed of 304.77 mph or 490.4 kmph. This beast of a car can also do 0 to 62 mph in just 2.4 sec and costs close to $3 million. With all that acceleration at one’s feet the Chiron also has 16.5-inch brake callipers which get it to stop in mind-numbing rate.

Just like us humans who are not all built the same, not all Chiron’s are built the same there are and will be many variants of the Chiron and some are faster than the rest, while some are more rare and are more expensive, while some are made to celebrate a very special occasion.

The Bugatti Chiron has broken many important records, just like its predecessor the Bugatti Veyron, like the 0-400kmph-0 in just 41.96 sec and in just 3.2 km (2 miles) this was done in 2017.

Now lets go through the exterior of this beauty, lets start from the fount the iconic horseshoe grill which many people associate with Bugatti’s of the past this grill also has a solid sliver badge which has Bugatti embedder in it and the 4 led squares which welcome you when you unlock the car this system is the only one in the industry and the aerodynamics in the front of this car. Also the Bugatti line which starts in the front of the car, whish has a 45 degree angle for the carbon fibre weave present in the bodywork, this Bugatti line goes through the length of the car and even the interior and the wing at the back, also in the front is the trunk of the car and is built to fit just a carryon in it and this also has the tire inflation kit with gloves of course.

At the side of the car where there is another iconic piece of the Chiron which is the “C” shape single piece of aluminium which is above the door which is made from carbon fibre, in fact the whole body is made with carbon fibre. Also, on the sides there is the oil, fuel caps on each slide this is because there in no way to open the engine compartment, because Bugatti do not want people messing up their masterpiece, which lets agger, is for the better. Now at the back of the Chiron there  where one can see the engine which say W-16 on one and 1500 on the other with the Bugatti logo on both of course this engine cover cannot be opened, one can also see the Bugatti line continue across the roof and rear of the car end at the wing. The Bugatti line also goes between the two halves of the engine but has a hole in between so that one can admire the beauty of this car. The wing has many modes in which it stays this is determined by the driving mode and the speed of the car. The exhaust of this car makes some of the best music in the industry.

Moving to the inside of the Bugatti Chiron it has one of the most luxurious interiors in the world, everything is wrapped in the best quality leather and all the metal is polished and there is nothing cheep of plastically about this interior or this car. Evan the key is wrapped in leather and has metal all around it. The Bugatti line is also continuous inside the car and divides the passenger and the driver, it also divides the back window and has a light on it from up to down has a led light which is very good use of space. Everything in the interior of this car is just engineered to perfection and is very classy. Also, this car doesn’t have a screen because 20-30 years from now when screens will be outdated this car will still be a classic. that is how everything in this car is designed and engineered.

That is just why features like THE BUGATTI LINE, the horseshoe grill is what make this car a classic and is so iconic and will be the pinnacle of automotive engineering and design for a long time.
